Talent Network

Build your next opportunity with SynapseSoft.

Most of our current work is AI training and evaluation — RLHF, model scoring, and red-teaming — alongside software and consulting engagements. We are looking for specialists who can judge model output in their own field.

Who we're looking for

Experienced professionals across modern engineering.

We work with people at different stages and specializations. If your background is close but not listed, it is still worth getting in touch.

  • AI Trainers & Evaluators
  • Domain Experts (medicine, law, finance, STEM)
  • Red-Team Specialists
  • Software Engineers
  • Full-Stack Developers
  • Backend Engineers
  • Frontend Engineers
  • AI Engineers
  • Technical Consultants
  • Technical Interviewers
  • Client-Facing Technical Professionals

Collaboration tracks

Four ways professionals work with us.

Which track fits depends on your experience and what you want more of — building, advising, or assessing.

AI Trainers & Evaluators

For specialists who can judge model output in their own field and explain the reasoning behind the call.

Software Engineers

For developers interested in remote engineering and consulting opportunities.

Domain Experts

For practitioners in medicine, law, finance, and STEM whose field knowledge is what makes an evaluation trustworthy.

Technical Interviewers

For experienced technology professionals who can participate in technical interviews and assessments.

What we value

What matters more than any single technology.

Tools change from project to project. These do not.

Technical ability

Real depth in your field, and the judgment to know when a simpler answer is the better one.

Strong communication

Explaining technical work clearly to people who do not share your background.

Reliability

Doing what you said you would do, and saying so early when something changes.

Professionalism

Representing yourself and your work honestly, under your own name and experience.

Problem solving

Working from the actual problem rather than the first solution that comes to mind.

Continuous learning

Keeping current with the tools and practices your area is moving toward.

Long-term collaboration

An interest in relationships that continue past a single project.

Opportunities

What the work can involve.

Depending on experience and project requirements, collaboration in the network can include any of the following.

Software development

Building and maintaining applications on client projects, alone or as part of a team.

Model evaluation

Scoring model output against a rubric in your field, with written reasoning behind each call.

Red-teaming

Adversarial prompting to find where a model breaks, and documenting how you got there.

Expert data generation

Writing prompts, reference answers, and worked solutions in your area of practice.

Technical consulting

Advising businesses on architecture, technology choices, and delivery approach.

Technical interviews

Participating in technical interviews and assessments under your own name and credentials.

Client communication

Working directly with clients to clarify requirements and explain technical trade-offs.

Project collaboration

Contributing to multi-person projects alongside other professionals in the network.

Everyone in the network works under their own identity, qualifications, and experience, on SynapseSoft's own client engagements. We do not ask anyone to represent themselves as another person, we do not operate accounts on anyone's behalf, and we do not place contributors on third-party platforms under someone else's name.
